CodeRED Emergency Notification System
Sioux City residents can now receive emergency notifications through CodeRED, an emergency management platform that delivers geo-targeted alerts across different channels, including telephones, text message, email, social media, mobile apps and any communication device.
The City of Sioux City will utilize the CodeRED platform to send alerts related to snow emergencies, boil water warnings and water main breaks to communicate critical information with our citizens. Sign up by clicking the following link or enroll via cell phone by texting AlertSiouxCity to 99411. When prompted, choose "Yes, I would like to create a managed account."

CodeRED Mobile Alert App
The CodeRED Mobile Alert app is available for Sioux City residents to receive emergency alerts about snow emergencies, boil water warnings and water main breaks on-the-go. By downloading the app, residents will be able to receive critical, location-specific CodeRED alerts directly on their smartphone.
