MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Inclusive Sioux City Advisory Committee is to advise the Mayor and City Council on equity and inclusion strategies that strengthen connections among diverse communities living and working in Sioux City and with the city government and members of the Sioux City Business and non-profit communities. The goal of this work is to create more equitable outcomes for the people who live and work in our community.
MEMBER ROLE
Equity, inclusiveness and access are vital components in connecting citizens to opportunities for success and advancement in our community so that all communities share the opportunities and challenges of growth and change.
The role of the committee is to advise the Mayor and City Council on opportunities and barriers for the inclusion of all residents as it pertains to housing, transportation, economic development, public safety, community engagement and quality of life issues for people of all races, sexual orientations, religious beliefs, ethnicities, incomes, and abilities.

The Inclusive Sioux City Advisory Committee shall consist of eleven (12) members comprised of one (1) member from each of the following seven (7) groups:
