The Sioux City Convention Center opened in 1988 to provide the area with a quality solution for weddings, corporate meetings, conferences and conventions. Its versatility and easy traffic flow have made the Convention Center ideal for everything from a small meeting to a large conference or wedding. The galleries were renovated in 2015 with a new audio system, lighting, airwalls, carpet and painting. We host over 200 events in the building each year.

The Sioux City Convention Center is the ideal location for your next social event or conference. Located just minutes from I-29, the facility is just 7 miles from the Sioux Gateway Airport.  The Convention Center is in the heart of our historic downtown, surrounded by museums, authentic shopping, restaurants and unique architecture.
