This recycling event collects materials that can be recycled, reused, and refurbished. By not putting your recyclable waste into the trash, natural resources and energy are conserved, valuable and potentially harmful materials are recovered, and landfill space is saved.
Styrofoam is not accepted at this event; That can be recycled directly at LiteForm in South Sioux City - Please call 402-241-4402.

Will there be neighborhood cleanups in the future?
There will not be neighborhood cleanups in the future due to legal liability issues. The Re-event is held twice a year to help with residential cleanup.
Is there a charge to dispose of items?
There is a charge to dispose of items at the CCC during the year. There is a discounted charge on the day of the Re-event.
Is the CCC available for all Siouxland residents or just resident of Sioux City?
The CCC is available for all Siouxland residents. You do not need to reside in Sioux City.
Why is there a charge to dispose of electronics?
There is a charge to dispose of electronics that is used for the dismantling and proper recycling of the items.
