The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the start of the Undersized Watermain Replacement Project. The contractor plans to begin construction on or about September 25, 2024 and work is to be completed within 75 working days, weather pending.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced that the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Woodbury County, located at the Morningside Lutheran Church, will close permanently on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

The Customer Service Center, located on the first floor of City Hall at 405 6th Street, will close on Fridays at 4:30 p.m. beginning Friday, October 4, 2024. The change to close 30 minutes earlier will align with the closure of all other offices within the building.
