Drop-off containers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at Siouxland Recovery, 1100 Cunningham Drive (located in the stockyards area). These containers are widely used by area residents who do not receive curbside collection.  Siouxland Recovery accepts cardboard and newspapers and #1 and #2 plastics.

Hy-Vee Food Stores (Gordon Drive and Southern Hills Location)

Will take up to 120 cans or bottles per day from 1 group or family.  Cans and bottles must be dry and on flats or in original boxs.  Bottles must be sorted by size.

Will take redemption cans, plastic soda or Walmart water flavored bottles.

Batteries Plus 3421 Singing Hills Blvd. 712-222-1020

Will recycle for free including camera, computer, cell phone, cordless tools, etc.  For a small fee they will recycle alkeline batteries including 4.5 volt, D, C, AA, AAA, &  9 volt.  Please call (712) 222-1020 for more information.
