“Faces of Siouxland” to be Held Sunday, April 2nd
Sioux City Human Rights Commission will host its annual multicultural fair, Faces of Siouxland, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Sioux City Convention Center, 801 4th Street. Faces of Siouxland reflects and celebrates the diversity within our community. The event is free and open to the public.
Over 70 local organizations will have an assortment of informational booths at the event. Also available for sale will be ethnic food, baked goods, and arts and crafts.
A variety of live performers will provide entertainment throughout the day.
Noon The American Legion will open the event with an escort from Sioux City Police
Department Sgt. Michael Manthorne on bagpipe. Tanner Smith will play the
national anthem on his guitar.
12:10 Pho Mon Temple dancers will perform a lion dance to formally open the event.

Children of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy our supervised “Kid’s Space.” Ditzy the Twister will be present making free balloon animals for children of all ages. McGruff the Crime Dog will also be present.
