Good Times Ahead for Sioux City
The Sioux City Events & Facilities Department announced today that a strong fall and winter entertainment season will offer families and individuals ample opportunity to experience great shows and events in Sioux City’s first-class facilities.
A listing of events through the end of 2009 alone includes:
• IBP Ice Center Halloween Party – October 31, 1pm-3pm – IBP Ice Center
• “Ghostbusters” movie – October 31, 3pm and 8pm – Orpheum Theatre
• Camelot – November 2, 7:30pm – Orpheum Theatre
• Gary Allan with Special Guests Jack Ingram and Eli Young Band – November 6, 7:30pm – Tyson Events Center
• Rockestra: Smorgasbord Spectacular – November 6, 8pm – Orpheum Theatre
• Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers – November 18, 7:30pm – Orpheum Theatre
• Hinder – November 20, 7pm – Tyson Events Center
• The Wizard of Oz – November 30, 7:30pm – Orpheum Theatre
• NAIA Volleyball Championship – December 1-5 – Tyson Events Center
• Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker – December 8, 7:30pm – Orpheum Theatre
• Tonic Sol Fa – December 20, 7:30pm – Orpheum Theatre
• The Christmas Music of Mannheim Steamroller by Chip Davis – December 31, 8pm – Orpheum Theatre
Tickets to most listed events can be purchased at the Tyson Events Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000. Skate rental at the IBP Ice Center Halloween Party is free for kids in costume, and tickets to see the movie “Ghostbusters” can be purchased at the Orpheum Theatre the day of the show.
