“Trunk or Treat Event”
Jones Street Coalition’s Midtown Family Community Center located at 525 14th Street will be hosting an event on Thursday, October 29 from 6-7 p.m. known as “Trunk or Treat”. This event is free and open to the public! Come join us for this fun and safe pre-Halloween trick or treating event.
Youth from Pre-K to 6th grade are invited to dress in their Halloween costume and come to the Midtown Family Community Center parking lot located behind the building. Students from Briar Cliff University and Morningside College will decorate their cars and the kids in attendance will help judge the best decorated cars (trunks!) in several categories. The college students will also be handing out candy (treats!)
Trick or treaters are reminded to bring their own candy bags and to dress appropriately for the weather. Parents are encouraged to attend and to be part of this fun event. Contact Brandy or Carrie at 224-3363 for more information.
