Fun, Food, and Fitness Day camp
Jones Street Coalition’s Midtown Family Community Center located at 525 14th Street in partnership with ISU’s Woodbury County Extension will be hosting an event on Friday, November 6th from 9a.m-5p.m. The event is a day camp called “Fun, Food, and Fitness”. There is no school scheduled for the Sioux City Schools that day.
Youth from K-6th grade are invited to attend the day camp and learn about cooking, how to create simple snacks and other fun food facts. Students from Briar Cliff University and Morningside College have volunteered to assist with this camp and will be teaching kids about fun fitness activities, and games. The cost will be $15 to cover the snacks, lunch, and activities.
