Two sessions of children’s program to be offered
Two sessions of the Kids’ Clues: Harvest Fest will be offered October 28 and 29 at the Sioux City Public Museum. Children will explore farming experiences from the pioneer days and will decorate their own pumpkin to take home.
Kids’ Clues encourages children to play detective by creating a Clue Collector and exploring the Museum to find clues to solve a special mystery. The hour-long program begins at 10 a.m. Fees are $2 for Museum members and $3 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required by calling 712-279-6174 or e-mailing museumeducation@sioux-city.org.
Additional Kids’ Clues programs will be offered in November and December featuring seasonal themes. Each Kids’ Clues program offers different mysteries and crafts.
The Sioux City Public Museum is housed in the historic John Peirce Mansion at 2901 Jackson Street. For a complete listing of upcoming programming and events, visit www.siouxcitymuseum.org.
