Flip Flop Challenge
FLIP FLOP CHALLENGE
Sioux City Parks and Recreation is holding a FLIP FLOP CHALLENGE at the Long Lines Family Rec Center Climbing Wall on Saturday, November 7, 2009. Participants must bring their own flip flops to compete. Each participant will get 3 chances to climb different routes in flip flops. The higher you get with both flip flops on the more points you will receive!
Ages 5 and up may compete in the challenge. Divisions will be 5-7yr olds from 12-1:00pm, 8-12yr olds 1-2:00pm, 13-17 yr olds from 2-3:00pm, and 18yrs and up 3-4:00pm. Prizes will be awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd place in each age division.
The cost to participate in the challenge is only $5! Participants are encouraged to bring tennis shoes and stay for open climb during your division time. Crafts and games will be available in the arena at Long Lines Family Rec Center. Concessions will be available for purchase. Participants will also get the change to meet the ROCK STARS climbing team.
